Mosquitoes are a common nuisance in El Salvador, particularly in El Boquerón National Park. The warm and humid climate of the region provides an ideal breeding ground for these pesky insects. Mosquitoes can be found in abundance near bodies of water, such as rivers, ponds, and marshes, making outdoor activities in the park sometimes uncomfortable for visitors.

Year round mosquito forecast
